Full binding of glazed blond calfskin from the time. Smooth spine finely decorated with golden florets and with a piece of Havana morocco title. All edges gilt. Oily golden filet flanked by two thin fillets in framing on the boards, threaded cuts, inner golden castor. Very fresh interior. French and Latin text next to it.

ORIGINAL EDITION of this translation estimated with the Latin text next to it. Jean Dusaulx (1728-1799) was a member of the Legislative Assembly and the Convention. He voted against the execution of Louis XVI and narrowly escaped the guillotine.
