A few freckles and red spots on the last pages of White Magic Volume II: Testament of Jerome Sharp, professor of amusing physics; where we find, among several tricks of subtlety, that we can execute without any expense, precepts and examples on the art of making impromptu songs; to serve as a follow-up to the white magic revealed. With figures interspersed in the text: Volume III: Codicile of Jérôme Sharp, professor of amusing physics; where we find among several towers not mentioned in his will, various recreations relating to science& fine arts; to serve as a third continuation of the white magic revealed. A few freckles: Volume IV: The little adventures of Jérôme Sharp, funny physics teacher; book containing as many ingenious tricks as useful lessons, with a few small portraits in a black manner. The most famous work of fun physics and prestidigitation before the Revolution. The 4 volumes are in a period full vellum binding. Title piece on a volume, tomaison piece on a volume, the others are missing. Two traces of rodents on the spine of a volume (upper cap missing), other traces on 2 dishes, a bit split on 1 cm at the head of the V. I. Nevertheless, the general state is absolutely correct.

Volume I and Volume II are ORIGINAL EDITIONS. Bookplates of Jules Charbonnel on the 4 volumes.
