Bound in publisher's full navy blue percaline. Smooth spine with gilt title and false cold boxes. Cold decoration on the boards. First cover with gilt title, author and publisher's name. Binding slightly rubbed. All edges speckled. Paper very slightly browned. Good condition of the contents decorated with 10 off-text colour maps, 8 off-text black and white panoramas - 6 of them folding - made by Victor PETIT, and 1 off-text folding colour projection of the Pyrenees mountain range.
FIRST EDITION.
Number of panoramas equal to 8 and not 9 as announced on the title page. Denial on the table of contents.
