Set of two volumes with modern green half morocco bindings with corners, grosgrain leather. Spine with four sautéed nerves decorated with a gilt lauburu, with two dark green chagrin title-pieces, gilt titles. Gilt fillets on the spines and corners. Covers and spine preserved. Pages not soiled. Paper slightly browned. Eventual traces of folds and foxing on the pages. Red cloth bookmark on each book.

Uncommon and much sought after book.
Superbly bound copy of this two-volume series in which the author uses his best pen to present us the Biarritz of his time. Augustin Chaho has several strings to his bow (poet, philosopher, historian, linguist, etc.), and he takes advantage of them to make a few digressions. Beautiful books promising a pleasant reading.
