Set of two volumes bound in one volume with black half-chagrin with period corners. Smooth spine with false nerves, with gilt fleurons, title and author's name. Gilt date on heel. Joints slightly tired. Small tears on the binding. All edges speckled. Paper slightly browned. Text on three columns.

A two-volume dictionary in a single beautiful binding, the result of the work of the eminent member of the Linguistic Society of Paris, the Basque professor Father Azkue. The whole constitutes an imposing work, and rightly so, since it contains all the existing Basque vocabulary of the time translated into French and Spanish.
