Bound in brown half-chagrin. Spine with four nerves, with gilt title and author's name. Armorial bookplate of Alexandre de Larralde Diusteguy in the form of a label on the back cover. Slight rubbing on headpieces, nerves and spines. All edges speckled. Paper slightly browned but in very good condition. Green cloth bookmark.
2nd edition.
Beautiful bound copy containing a "Basque Vocabulary, arranged in order of Subjects, explained by Spanish, Latin and French" (pp. 199-243). The pagination may seem curious for a good reason: in reality it is not a true new edition; as Vinson explained: "we took the remaining copies of the original edition [the one published in 1854], we redid the false title and the title, and we added a Preface".
