Beautiful bound copy of this first volume of a series of works whose author is none other than Justin Cénac-Moncaut (1814-1871), a great scholar of Gascony and the Pyrenees. Here, the author shows us how France as a state was gradually built up, particularly through the development of its territory and its culture. This led to a certain influence on all its lands, particularly on the South-West of France.
In good condition.
