Set of two volumes bound in contemporary blond half calf. Spine with five nerves, with titles, author's mentions and tomaisons on two black morocco pieces. Spines rubbed. Joints cracked. Top edge gilt. Covers very well preserved. A few scattered freckles on the pages hardly attenuate the excellent condition of the contents.
An ambitious study spread over two volumes on the treatment of an endemic community of the Basque-Pyrenean regions: the Cagots, often considered as outcasts. Region by region, we look at how the populations perceived them.
