Bound in half tan banded leather, with broad green central bands. Spine with two strong nerves, with gilt title and author's name. Slight rubbing of the binding and fatigue of the spines hardly detract from its beauty. Cover and spine very well preserved. Pages not soiled. Paper slightly browned but in good condition. Contents decorated with black and white headbands and footnotes, black and white illustrations in-text, as well as a plan and two black and white maps out of text.
