Set of two volumes with red-bordeaux half-chagrin bindings. Spine with five nerves with gilded tomaison, titles and author's mentions. Fine rubbing on the spines. Covers preserved. Pages not soiled. Papers slightly browned but in excellent condition considering their age.
Magnificent study in two volumes dealing with the Basses-Pyrénées, an ancient region of France corresponding to the current Pyrénées-Atlantiques. These works had an obvious technical advantage for the Prefecture, which had them published, particularly by publishing all these statistics on the communes.
