Set of three volumes bound in full dark brown calf. Spine with four nerves with remnants of gilt decorated boxes. Spine trimmed. Joints tired or even cracked. Boards rubbed. All edges speckled. Contents adorned with black and white decorated bands, endpapers and lettering. Freckles on the pages. Fine galling extending over several pages.
Handwritten bookplate on the first volume.
First volume published in Latin. The next two are in French.
Venerable compilation of three works related to the historian and archbishop of Bearn (1594-1962). Although it is a small work, it is a great opportunity to discover the literary production of a Béarnese scholar of the past.
