Bound in full brown calf. Five ribbed spine with black morocco binding with double gilt fillets and title. Cold fillet on each board. Dented boards. All edges red. Paper browned. Ex-libris in the form of a label on the back cover. Handwritten bookplate on the white endpaper. Good condition of the contents decorated with black and white headbands and lettering.
This little book tells us about a part of French history that took place in the vicinity of Gascony in the middle of the 17th century. More precisely, it is about the Duchy of Guyenne, a medieval province which has disappeared and whose capital was Bordeaux.
