Bound in half dark green basane. Spine unstained with two red morocco pieces on which the author's name and the title are written in gilt. Spine and spine ends rubbed. Pages not soiled. Paper browned. First page stained. Contents decorated with black and white family trees in and out of the text, including a fold-out out of the text. Possible traces of small tears on the gutter edge.
Vasconia is an ancient region that lasted from the end of the 6th century to the 11th century AD. This once vast region encompassed much of what would become Gascony and Bearn in France. Of course, these lands have left behind a rich history which is reflected in this book.
