Three-volume set with blue-marine bradel publisher's cardboard. Smooth spines with title, tomaison, double filets, gilt author and publisher's notes. First plates with gilt title, emblem and author's statement. Remarkable bindings. Tiny stitching on each headband. Excellent condition of the contents with ornate lettering, bands and decorated lamp heads, as well as black and white photographs in and out of text. Cloth bookmark attached to each volume.
Fine soiling on the first plate of volume II.
Small stains and rubbing on the first plate of volume III.
