Bound in half empire green long-grained morocco. Spine with four sautéed nerves, with gilt fleurons, gilt title on two dark tan title-pieces, gilt pennant mosaic of red and green. Gilt date on heel. Cover well preserved. Pages not soiled. Paper slightly browned but in good condition. Color frontispiece under serpente. Nice condition of the contents decorated with black and white headbands and footnotes, two double-page maps in colour out of the text, as well as black and white or colour illustrations in and out of the text. Red cloth bookmark.
LIMITED EDITION. One of 980 numbered copies on tinted paper.
Copy enriched with an AUTOGRAPHIC SENDING by the author: "To Mr. Frémeaux, Cordial homage, CtE. Martin".
