Set of five volumes with full-bound brown bradel binding. Smooth spine with gilt fillets and checks, including two pieces of morocco: one red with the title in gold and the other green-shadow with the gilt tomaison. All slices marbled. Possible traces of pricking. Nice condition of the contents. Works with a cloth bookmark. Fine examples.
Volume I: Signature of the Portuguese author Camilo Castelo Branco on the false title page and its reverse side.
Volume II: Anonymous handwritten submission on the forgery page.
