Superb hardcover edition of Cosmopolis, a novel by Paul Bourget, a French author of the second half of the 19th century. Not only will the reader notice a certain finesse on the part of the author in his analysis of the mores of the society of his time, but he will also appreciate the illustrations scattered throughout the story.
Very good condition.
