In a lined slipcase and half morocco folder with cover. Bound in full blue morocco. Spine with 4 ornate nerves. Framed with gilt fillets and scrolls in wine-leather and brown morocco. Fillets on the edges, gilt inner garland, olive morocco lining, large decoration of flowers and cyclamens leaves mosaic of green and purple morocco, gilt numbers, pale green brocaded silk endpapers. All edges gilt. Binding signed Marius MICHEL.
Edition illustrated with 11 coloured etchings, including the cover, the ornamented title, 2 headpieces, 2 footpieces, the false titles and 3 hors-texte, by André-Charles COPPIER. The text is decorated with woodcut and hand-coloured floral frames. Vicaire salutes the work of Coppier who "achieves an innovation in polychrome printmaking" and "whose aim was to seek, in the execution of his compositions, the greatest variety of tones, and the illusion and freshness of original watercolours".

the contract with Lemerre and its acquirer, Antoine Girard: a signed autograph letter (one ff. in-8) dated 8 August 1898, granting him the authorization to freely dispose of the 115 copies of the illustrated volume of Fleurs de cyclamens in return for a sum of 200 francs and 5 copies of the work. As well as the receipt dated June 27, 1899, signed by Lemerre fils, receipt relating to this sum and these 5 copies free of charge;
- an original photograph of the whole, in black and white;
- 2 articles concerning this publication: one by Georges Vicaire taken from the Revue de publications nouvelles (2 ff.) and the other unsigned from the Revue biblio-iconographique (2 ff.).
Attached then, an autograph letter signed by the illustrator to Antoine Girard (2 pp. 1⁄2 in-12), concerning an incident at Durel's.
A unique copy made for the publisher, in a superb binding lined and mosaiced with cyclamen stem interlacings by Marius Michel.
