Bound in full garnet morocco, spine with Jansenist nerves, vellum lining illustrated with two watercolours signed by Pierre VIDAL and dated 1912, in a gilt framed roulettes and fillets, wine coloured woven silk endpapers, double marbled paper endpapers. All edges gilt on witnesses. Covers and spine preserved. Binding signed by NOULHAC. Some legitimate discharges opposite the watercolours set aside.
Partly original edition. One of 50 numbered copies on Hollande. (An edition published by the Société des bibliophiles contemporains in 1892 will be illustrated by Pierre VIDAL).
