In a lined slipcase. Full tan morocco binding. Spine with date at the foot. On the first plate, composition of roses (flowers and buds) mosaic in sand, green and fawn morocco, in rectangular recess on a cold screened background decorated with two mosaic butterflies. Inner frame decorated with 3 golden nets with 3 golden roses at the corners. Cover and spine preserved. Binding signed René KIEFFER.
Illustrated with a vignette on the title and 15 color etchings by Paul AVRIL, including 2 headers and 13 in-text.
LIMITED EDITION of 200 numbered copies on strong vellum. Our copy is enriched with a black suite and a color breakdown of all the illustrations, except for 2 only with a color and a black state.
