Work in we look at two of the most important cities of the 17th century in France: Paris and Versailles. The first was the historic capital while the second was the city of the Sun King, to which the Court and its nobles had their eyes riveted. At the time of writing this book, the glory of Versailles had passed while Paris was once again dominant. This does not prevent the author from trying to represent this period and the events that followed through his writings.
Condition okay.
