Bound in full blue oil morocco. Triple framed with double gilt fillet on the boards. On the first plate, a floral composition intermingled with foliage and flowers mosaic in midnight blue and olive morocco. Spine ribbed decorated with the same, double fillet gilded on the necks and caps. Lined with lavaliered morocco decorated with gilded rolls and double fillets in frames with gilded roses in spandrels of the inner frame. Oil blue silk endpapers. All edges gilt. Cover and back illustrated preserved. Binding signed Marius MICHEL. Illustrated with 120 drawings in the text and 12 off-text including the frontispiece by Maurice LELOIR.
LIMITED EDITION to 100 numbered copies of grand luxe on Japan paper. This one is one of the 50 first copies including an ORIGINAL AQUARELLE SIGNED on the false-title and in addition to the finished state, 3 interleaved states:

- state with remark
- state printed on satin under window folio.
