Bradel red publisher's cardboard. Smooth spine faded with title, author and publisher's gilt mentions, also including gilt and black ornaments. First cover with title, author's and publisher's annotations in gold, with gold or black ornaments and motifs. Gilding partially erased. All edges gilded. Fine soiling on the colour guards. Handwriting and handwritten ex-libris on the white guard. Burnished paper. Good condition of the contents with black and white illustrations in and out of text by A. ROBIDA. Nice copy.
Beautiful work in which you follow the characters during their journey in countries sometimes as exotic as they are inhospitable. In addition to the story of the desert crossing that will keep you on the edge of your seat, Robida's illustrations will make you thirsty for adventure.
