Red half-marbled binding. Spine with nerves with golden florets. Top edge gilt. Not trimmed. Binding signed GUERIN. Perfect interior.
It was subsequently bound in a booklet (50 pp.), a translation of the civil war by Marc-Antoine CHALVET in 1864, a copy of the Mouravit Library, with its small monogram stamp on the title and this handwritten note from his hand: "Very good publication; unique conservation copy and not trimmed, to which I have attached a rare brochure on the same subject". Murdered.
