Reliquaire, the first collective edition of Rimbaud's poems, was published in early November 1891, "at the very moment when, disdainful of his budding fame, the poet, defeated by adventure, was dying in Marseille" (Monda & Montel, p. 33). In 1895, Léon Vanier published a second edition with five previously unpublished pieces and variants, under the title Poésies complètes.
The forty-five poems in this seminal collection appear in volume for the first time, with the exception of the eight pieces inserted by Verlaine in the two editions of Poètes maudits. Four pieces are apocryphal: Les Cornues, Le Limaçon, Doctrine and Poison perdu.

A copy with the correct date and complete with the preface by Rodolphe Darzens, who disowned it and had part of the print run amputated by court order. The truncated copies were reissued in 1892 under a rejuvenated title.

A very fine copy, carefully prepared by Devauchelle.
