Counterplate lined in dark blue morocco. Cover kept. Binding signed JOLY FILS. Very clean interior. With a portrait of the added author shot in China and placed on the front page.
RARE ORIGINAL EDITION, the author having withdrawn it from the market in order to make it undergo important modifications .
A copy enriched with a letter from the author requesting additional seats in the theatre and an autograph letter from Cécile Sorel, dated 1910: "Charming friend, I am accused of having played too much outside this year. Would you like to say a few words tonight about The Adventurerso that it can be seen that I also sometimes play at the Comédie française. I will owe you one more pleasure, and you are very affectionately grateful in advance" .
