Green half-shell binding with corners. Smooth spine with gilt filets, title and author's note, decorated with floral motifs in mosaic colors. Gilt date on the heel. Partially browned covers with gilt fillets. Lightly rubbed back and jaws. Golden headband. Bookplate with label on the back plate. Creamy cover and back well preserved. Handwriting on the front cover. Unstuck pages. Black and white serpentine frontispiece. Excellent condition of the contents with black and white lettering, bands and black and white culs-de-lampe, as well as a black and white off-text drawing by Bernard NAUDIN.
LIMITED PULL. One of the 1875 numbered copies on paper of the manufactures de rives.
