Seventh work published by the Compagnie des bibliophiles de l'Amérique latine, it is illustrated with more than 100 compositions by the two artists, woodcut and printed by Pierre Bouchet, who also printed the work with the collaboration of Pierre Jean Mathan.
LIMITED EDITION OF 150 numbered copies. This is one of 125 copies on Arches vellum.
This copy is enriched with a suite of all the black and white illustrations on Japan paper and the illustrated menu of the Bibliophiles de l'Amérique Latine.
The illustration was started in the 1920s by George Barbier who unfortunately only had time to make about thirty drawings before his death in 1932. Pierre Bouchet therefore entrusted Georges Lepape with the task of finishing the work of his illustrious predecessor.
Very nice set.
