La Vie de Marianne ou les aventures de Madame la comtesse de *** is an unfinished novel by Marivaux, a literary genre of the memoir novel. It consists of eleven parts written by Marivaux from 1728 onwards, and published from 1731 until 1742. A sequel and fine apocryphal in 1745, an unfinished Continuation composed by Marie-Jeanne Riccoboni, was partially published.
