Masterpiece, this book is written in the form of a dialogue between Nathalie Sarraute and her double, recounting her first 11 years. This period is torn between her parents, divorced, and between Russia and France. Sarraute tries to be as sincere as possible, and this work turns out to be a kind of introspection where she questions the true nature of her cold and distant mother, who eventually abandons her to her father when she is nine years old. However, towards the end of the book, she explains how she manages to reconnect with her mother late in life.

Very nice condition.
