This album traces the apocalypse of the modern world, imagined as a film scenario and masterfully illustrated by Fernand Léger's play of forms which shows a great modernity by mixing cubist illustrations and clever typographical games.
ORIGINAL illustrated EDITION of one of the first testimonies of the technique of the "couleur en dehors" that Léger had already used to illustrate CENDRARS' "J'ai tué", published the year before, and which had made a mark in modern publishing.
One of 1,200 numbered copies on Lafuma vellum.
This copy is enriched with a SIGNED AUTOGRAPHIC SENDER from Blaise CENDRARS to the writer Pierre MASSOT playing with the false title: The end of the world " will come and we will start again " (dated 1923).
