Under lined case and under shirt covered with green morocco on rhodoid spine. Green maroquin binding with ivory vellum frame. Smooth spine. Title piece of the same morocco on the first dish. Lining and guards of salmon glossy paper. Top edge gilt. Not trimmed. Original paper covers and spine bound in. Binding signed P.-L. MARTIN. Decorated with a frontispiece by Jean-Gabriel Daragnès engraved in a black manner and ten typographical ornaments printed in mauve. Usually the frontispiece is transferred to the title.

ORIGINAL EDITION LIMITED TO 350 COPIES. One of 330 numbered copies on Lana's white vellum, second paper after 20 copies on Vidalon. Copy offered by the artist to André Breton, with this signed autograph: "to Mr Breton, in all friendship, Daragnès. »
