Spine in burgundy and black morocco, cover preserved. Cover and case in the same material. Binding signed Edgard CLAES - 1995. Slight shock to the case.
ORIGINAL EDITION of this collection of 5 letters of Erik SATIE addressed to Pierre DE MASSOT between 1922 and 1925 with an introduction of four pages by the latter. It is illustrated with a full page cubist guitar drawing by Georges BRAQUE.
LIMITED EDITION of 90 copies on Vélin d'Arches, numbered and signed by the publisher.
Pierre DE MASSOT, writer and close to the Dada movement, met Erik SATIE through Francis PICABIA. He perpetuated Satie's memory in several works, notably this one.
