FIRST EDITION. One of 60 numbered copies on Arches vellum, complete with fold-out frontispiece depicting a ship's prow on a quay, found only in large paper copies.
This novel was to consist of three volumes. The second, entitled Le Pont de Londres, was published posthumously in 1964; as for the last part, Céline gave up writing it during his Danish exile.
