This copy bears an AUTOGRAPHIC SENDER SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR to the publisher Marcel Sautier on the false title.
The booklet revolves around the Venus de Lespugue, an ivory statuette discovered in 1922 by René de Saint-Périer in the Grotte des Rideaux (Haute-Garonne), one of the most famous prehistoric representations of women.
