On each plate two vertical yokes of mouse grey box in light relief, oblique trail of metallic grey paint enhanced with inlaid rushes dyed with metallic colours. Smooth spine, Chinese title in palladium letters, lavender blue suede linings and guards. Gilded edges on witnesses. Original paper covers and spine bound in. Binding signed Renaud VERNIER master of art. 2001.
ORIGINAL EDITION adorned with 3 original etchings out of text by Julius Baltazar, Olivier Debré and Roger Bertèmes, monogrammed in pencil by the artists.
60 copies LIMITED EDITION
on Arches vellum paper signed by the author, the artists and the translator. This one of the 12 copies of the head print accompanied by an original drawing in Indian ink monographed by each of the painters (n°1) .
On the false title 2 ORIGINAL DRAWINGS in bold pencil are dedicated and signed :" For Martine and Gérard[Vidalenche], with my regards Bertèmes " ; and : "For the Vidalenche under the sky of Paris. Their friend Julius XXIII IIIII 1997 ".
