In a cardboard slipcase and folder covered with pearly Japanese paper. Illustrated with 11 original woodcuts by Henri LAURENS, including one for the cover and one for the title page. On the false title, an ORIGINAL DRAWING by Henri LAURENS accompanies an AUTOGRAPHIC SENDING SIGNED BY THE ARTIST: "to Madame Pierre de Harting, with kind regards. H. Laurens". In this copy is added:

- One of the 25 suites printed on Japon, comprising 10 original engravings by Henri Laurens, the first signed by the artist and the president of the society, and justified X/XXV;
- A suite of 4 engravings (3 chapter heads and 1 cul-de-lampe), printed on Vergé d'Auvergne

Each of these suites is preserved in an individual folder, respectively of white Auvergne and blue-grey Auvergne, decorated with the woodcut of the cover, with variations of colors.

LIMITED EDITION. One of 100 copies on vergé à la cuve du Moulin Richard-de-Bas numbered in Arabic, printed for Madame de Harting, signed by the artist and the president of the society.

The ORIGINAL MAQUETTE OF THE WORK is added, in the same format, printed on vergé à la cuve du Moulin Richard-de-Bas
:- The title page presents a collage of an ORIGINAL DRAWING in graphite by Henri Laurens. The page is signed by the artist, who has also justified it as "BaT";
- The 9 remaining original woodcuts are pasted in their definitive place in the rest of the book
.
Some are accompanied by annotations in graphite ("blacker", "horizontal");
- The model has a two-state justification
:
"Printed copy for Madame de Harting", leaf signed by the artist and the president of the society; and "Copy No. 1 printed for Madame de Harting", leaf signed by the artist, taped to an Auvergne leaf of the dimensions of the work ;
- The model is contained in a grey-blue Auvergne folder, decorated with the woodcut of the cover, with colour variations;
- Under another grey-blue Auvergne folder, decorated with the woodcut of the cover with colour variations, are : a leaf with 2 woodcuts in colour (culs-de-lampe), 2 bifeuillets each with a woodcut in colour pastedown, and 2 leaves each with a woodcut in colour.




The copy and the model are each in a cardboard folder covered with pearly Japan paper with gold title printed on the spine, similar case

ATTACHMENTS: the set is completed by:
- 3 autograph letters signed by Henri Laurens to Madeleine de Harting, about the making of the book (Paris, June 2, 1952-June 8, 1953).
- Invitation card to the opening of an exhibition of Laurens' papiers collés at Berggruen & Cie, 11 March 1955
