Top edge gilt. Original paper covers and spine bound in. Binding signed J. VAN WEST. Perfect interior. Illustrated with 6 etchings of CHAS LABORDE.
FIRST EDITION. One of the 25 numbered copies on Japan with a suite in black and a suite in sanguine, enriched with an autograph ticket signed by the author on a business card with the mention "de l'Académie française".
