Second edition. One of 85 numbered copies on vellum pur fil Lafuma-Navarre. The original was privately printed by Jacques Guérin in 1955, with 25 facsimile copies of the manuscript, and was not reissued by Gallimard until 11 years later, albeit in an expurgated version, taking advantage of the success of La Bâtarde.
