LIMITED DRAWING. One of the 300 numbered copies on vellum in the shape of the Blanchet frères and Kléber paper mills, after 5 on Japan in the shape and 30 on Imperial Japan.

Unique copy, enriched with 16 COLOUR DRAWINGS in the text by Louis VERGETAS (signed L. Vergetas or L. V.). Born in 1882, a student of Fernand Cormon at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and then at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs, Louis Vergetas exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français before returning to his inspirational land, Normandy .

This first great novel about the Great War won the Goncourt Prize in 1915.
