This one of 28 copies on Arches vellum accompanied by an original drawing, a continuation of the decomposition of colors and black.The cabaret of the Lapin Agile where the first part of the action of the[nbsp]Quai des brumes is located, is a real cabaret, effectively located on the Butte Montmartre, and of which Frédéric Gérard, known as" Frédé " was the patron in the 1910s. Recognizing the partially autobiographical dimension of his novel, Mac Orlan revealed some of its keys in an interview given in 1968 : he explained that Jean Rabe was a transposition of himself.
